National Naval Aviation Museum

The world’s largest Naval Aviation Museum, The National Naval Aviation Museum, is one of the most visited museums in the state of Florida. The museum holds more than 150 beautifully restored aircraft representing Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard Aviation. These historic and one-of-a-kind aircraft are displayed both inside the Museum’s over 350,000 square feet of exhibit space and outside on its 37-acre grounds. Pensacola Museum of History

The Pensacola Museum of History is located at the University of West Florida.  Its exhibits showcase the diversely rich history of Northwest Florida. Did you know that Pensacola is the “City of Five Flags?” – The city has changed ownership several times (The Spanish, French, British, Confederate, and American flags have all flown over it!) During your visit, you can also see the Arcadia Mill Archaeological site, complete with a children’s area, “Meet Me at the Mill” featuring an educational exhibit with hands-on displays. Native Spirit Museum and Gallery

Opening in the fall of 2016, the Native Spirit Museum & Gallery sells and displays the most authentic Native American artifacts and decor from the Florida panhandle and its surrounding areas. Pensacola Museum of Art

The Pensacola Museum of Art is the only art museum in the city of Pensacola, Florida. It was founded in 1954 by a group of women from the American Association of University Women. The museum has rotating exhibitions and events calendar filled with classes, artist talks and openings of new exhibits on specific topics and showings from world renown artists such as Picasso, Warhol, Dali and more!

Pensacola Lighthouse & Maritime Museum

The Pensacola Light House was originally built in 1859 and is currently located at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola. Climb up the 177 steps to see the historic lighthouse area.  From the top, you will see beautiful views of the Gulf Coast.  The lighthouse was originally a floating lightship, the Aurora Borealis, and later moved to land to better aid in navigation.
